The Donation Bar is the main way for Users to express their support for a Page on WeWrite. Instead of vanity metrics (such as "likes" or "upvotes") the Donation Bar encourages users to "put your money where your mouth is" and offer recurring support to the author. A few cents per month can quickly add up.
Currently, the interaction design of the Donation Bar is not quite where it will need to be long-term. The goal is for the underlying Page to "slide in" (possibly through animating the clicked Link object into the Title) while the Donation Bar remains permanent.
As of April 26, 2023, here's what the hover states and clicked states look like.

Clicking the input box currently highlights it, but in the future it might change the state of the whole component to be centered and have a more immersive experience, so we can show a pie chart breakdown of other donations, etc.

Interactions
When clicking the - or + buttons, there could be a cool particle emission interaction which metaphorizes what's happening … clicking subtract would "suck in" particles (representing the size of the donation being collapsed and reduced) and clicking add would emit particle thus visualizing expansion.
