WeWrite could be used by neighborhoods to put their history and shared collective knowledge literally on the map.
It could help people to feel more connected to their territorial tradition, to help them understand how to relate to their locale, to understand what problems and issues their neighbors face.
Currently neighborhoods use NextDoor, which is similar to other social media in that it's all about Posts which puts us on the endless Content Treadmill.
The timeline interface (which could probably also be visualized as a calendar) could be used to show community-organized events in the future, as well as document key dates in the past.
