WeWrite for movements

WeWrite could be used as the thinking-tool for society-altering social movements. "There's nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come" … if an idea's time has come and it's put on WeWrite, that idea could be quickly bankrolled by supporters and transformed into other cultural forms, such as songs, screenplays, films, TV shows, etc.

If a movement wishes to remain underground before it's sufficiently strong or ideologically coherent, it can take advantage of WeWrite's privacy functionality.

Communities could be set up for various levels of the movement, which will likely organically contain various inner circles and outer circles whose position on the periphery will allow that part of the movement to interface with other parts of society (as social movements do naturally throughout history)

The Republic of Letters helped to spark the Renaissance. That's what WeWrite hopes to do.

You might be thinking: "why not Substack?" … read about how WeWrite is different from Substack here.
